Play Submission

AART welcomes submissions from actors of all ages, ethnicities and skill levels. If you would like to be considered for future productions, please send a headshot and resume to the PO Box listed above.

AART accepts unsolicited manuscripts. If you have a play that will help us fulfill our mission, please submit the script, a synopsis, your biography/resume and a self-addressed, stamped envelope (SASE) for return of materials to the above P.O. Box. Submissions without a SASE will not be returned. Responses may take up to nine months or longer.

Program Advertising Rates:

There is no better way to reach a diverse, growing, and influential part of the community than to advertise with Asian American Repertory Theatre. Advertising in an AART show program is an ideal way to promote your business and show your support of non-profit arts in San Diego.

Since 1995, AART has developed a distinctive local as well as national profile. Feature articles, interviews, and photos have appeared in television, radio, national magazines, newspapers, and websites. As the only contemporary Asian American theatre in San Diego, AART holds a unique place in the city’s rich cultural life. Not only do we draw audiences from throughout San Diego County, but from Los Angeles, Orange, and Riverside Counties as well.

This year, we are giving advertisers the opportunity to advertise in our first two shows of the season. You’ll receive a discounted rate per ad by buying ads for two shows instead of just one.
