Break Another Leg: San Diego Asian American Repertory Theatre Acting Workshop 

AART is thrilled to have been selected by The University of San Diego to be the subject of a semester-long Financial Feasibility Study in 2007...the study is now complete...thank you USD!Are you interested in entering the world of theater, acting in films, TV, or commercials? SDSU Professor and Theatre director Peter Cirino and AART board member and actress  Elise Kim Prosser, Ph.D. will co-facilitate a workshop for those interested in theatre and acting. This multi-dimensional workshop will explore theatre training, acting, agents, auditions, headshots, etc. Participants in last year’s workshop were hired for roles in a 2007 AART production. AART Board President Louie Nguyen will also offer opportunities for involvement.

Saturday Oct 14 11:30am (Festival October 12-19) 7th Annual San Diego Asian Film Festival. AART Director Peter Cirino with co-facilitator Marcos Martinez of CSUSM participate in an Acting workshop. (
AART VP Bridget Brigitte McDonald participates in separate SDAFF panel on music videos moderated by Audrey Ednalino, 6pm at Brickstones Salon). Join us at the Mission Valley UltraStar Cinema at Hazard Center. During San Diego’s largest Pan Asian cultural event, an estimated 15,000 attendees will experience over 130 short and feature films from over 15 different countries.

Saturday Oct 14 & Sunday Oct 15 (Festival October 12-19) 7th Annual San Diego Asian Film Festival. In the wake of her recent 10-song video DVD release, Bridget Brigitte (AART VP) participates on a Music Video panel to discuss the making of a music video from A-Z: casting, production, performance, editing, marketing, and promotion. Moderated by Audrey Ednalino, also featuring filmmakers Shilpa Mankikar, AJ Calomay, Patricio Ginelsa, Evan Leong, Warren Fu. Music Video panel happens twice: 6pm on Sat, 6:45 on Sun at the Brickstones Salon.
